    Supervisor General of KSrelief meets with the UN Observer for Peace

    The advisor to the royal court and director general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met recently in Riyadh with the United Nations University for Peace’s Observer, David Fernández Puyana. Meeting attendees discussed issues of common interest concerning humanitarian and relief affairs, including ways to promote them, as well as the role of humanitarian efforts in instilling the values of understanding, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among all nations and peoples of the world as well as reducing the severity of humanitarian crises resulting from conflicts.

    Supervisor General of KSrelief meets with the UN Observer for PeaceIn order to improve living conditions and assist vulnerable people around the world, the permanent observer praised the strategic partnership between the two sides, referring to the international recognition and prestigious status achieved by KSrelief in the field of humanitarian work. KSrelief was established to coordinate and provide international relief to crisis-afflicted communities, alleviating suffering and providing the essentials to allow people everywhere to live good lives. A sum of one billion Saudi Riyals was earmarked to support the center’s relief and humanitarian efforts. This amount is additional to the one billion Saudi Riyals previously allocated to meet the relief and humanitarian needs of the Yemeni people.
