Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC) President Princess Muna Al Hussein inaugurated the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center, and Computer and Capacity Building Center on Wednesday. The two centers are intended to better meet the training and educational needs of health professionals locally, regionally, and internationally, said Hani Nawafleh, the Council’s secretary-general.
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development provides funding for the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center through the Ministry of Planning and Health. Among the devices at the center, Nawafleh said, are devices that simulate a variety of medical situations, including emergency situations for adults and children, natural birth simulators, and others. Additionally, he said the computer center will be used to conduct medical examinations and provide nursing staff with capacity-building opportunities.
