On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) distributed 1,070 vouchers worth KD50 each to needy families. On the sidelines of the event, Khaled Al-Zaid, Director of KRCS’ Public Relations and Media Department, said the vouchers were distributed to needy Kuwaiti families approved by KRCS, in order to help them. He added that the recipients would purchase clothes from shops that serve children, orphans, and the elderly.
Since KRCS distributes humanitarian aid to needy families throughout the year, along with distribution of vouchers as part of the help that the association provides annually, they will continue to provide health, relief, and educational support. A volunteer team from KRCS distributes vouchers, food baskets, and health supplies to deprived families at its headquarters, he added, thanking the volunteers for their humanitarian work.
