King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace the Personal Representative of the Palestinian President, Yasser Mahmoud Abbas. This was in the presence of Taha Mohammed Abdul Qadir, Palestinian Ambassador to Bahrain. He conveyed to HM the King the greetings of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his best wishes for his continual health and happiness. He also wished for Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity.
King Hamad reiterated Bahrain’s support for the Palestinian cause and all efforts towards achieving a just and comprehensive regional peace. Also, he stressed the kingdom’s support for the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state in line with the two-state solution and the resolutions of international legitimacy so that peace and prosperity could be achieved for all people in the region.
