Saudi Arabia’s delegation that is currently in the United States, headed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha discussed investment opportunities available to investors and executives from major American companies in the fields of technology, space, research, development, and innovation. Aside from the capabilities in the relevant fields, participants discussed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s competitive advantages as a digital and logistical platform and a hub for connecting continents.
Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the United States, attended the event, which was hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce to complement cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States in the areas of digital economy and innovation economy. This is to build partnerships between the telecommunications, information technology, space, and research and development sectors. These partnerships would contribute to the achievement of the goals of both countries by opening effective channels for exchanging knowledge and best practices.
